I just LOVE the madness aspect of it.

ACTUALLY, Charles Lutwidge Dodgson wrote the book as part of his mathematical theories.
Don't listen to them, Dodgson wrote the Alice books to poke fun at literary critics.

I voted for the madness aspect, but I think the adjective I would use is the dreamlike aspect. Either way, I love that.
